Hello from ayu. Spring is in full force in Cali right now which means time for some trance of course, hehe.

Here’s an update from our friend Rubix. It’s called Disco Electronique. I absolutely dig this track; I love the contrast of the sick electro noise with the mellow melody… if you like it it’s available on iTunes and Beatport.

And if you really love electronic music (which I know you do) you MUST go to etd.POP. Gareth Emery, Boys Noize, Armin, Infected Mushroom, LA Riots… delish. $68 after fees from eventbrite (I prefer EB over TicketMaster. sadly I got owned by ticketbastard before I realized it.)

Return of Rubix!

Rubix is a producer and DJ from the Netherlands, who has made an appearance on elecTONIC before (shoutout to Minh who made that post!). His stuff falls in the realm of House and Nu Disco, and it’s played by guys like A-trak, Laidback Luke, FakeBlood. All I can say is that Rubix is definitely very fresh, especially for us electronic music fans in the States!

Have a listen to his latest production, the Rubix Gypsy House (!) remix of Bart B more’s “Romane”.
